Lightning!

Excellent storm last night!  Since I have nothing better to do, I spent some time leaning out my back door with my camera.  Managed to snag a couple of lightning shots.  Not the greatest backdrop for lightning photography, but fun nonetheness!

    Nice shots Kyle. How did you capture the lighting? Long shutter speed to have a bigger window of catching it?

    Yep, this was actually my first crack at it and I'm excited to try again having learned a few things. The numbers for these photos are:

    20sec
    1/18
    ISO 200

    I had the camera on a tripod and used the inbuilt 2-sec timer to make sure there was no shake. Also cranked the focus out to infinity.
